Main dans la main avec des artisans de Marrakech, Mr.&Mr. rapproche des territoires méditerranéens en rendant tangentes les techniques artisanales et une esthétique nouvelle. Il détourne des matériaux naturels et traditionnels en les confrontant à des formes contemporaines de bagages à main au façonnage exigeant. Le design s’impose par la matière rude de la palme, la souplesse du cuir de veau.

A line of hand luggage this is as traditional as it is anti-conformist. Antithèse is a ready-to-wear line that blends artisanal know-how with our modern-day nomadic way of life. Be it a lunch box, a messenger bag or a carry-on travel bag, the notion of mobility lies at the core of all these pieces. By working in close quarters with craftsmen from Marrakech, Mr.&Mr. has forged closer ties with the lands of the Mediterranean, a rapprochement that brings into contact craft techniques and a new aesthetic. The duo transforms natural and traditional materials by introducing them to contemporary hand luggage with high calibre workmanship. The design of the items is dictated by the choice of raw materials themselves; by the palm leaves and by the suppleness of calf leather.
